The Communications Center, Inc. is owned by Sarah J. Read and Kim Ryan.

Ms. Read is the president of the Communications Center, Inc. and provides communications training and coaching for individuals and organizations, consulting services, and facilitation services through the Center. She received her B.A. degree, cum laude, from Yale University in 1978, and her Juris Doctor degree with the Order of the Coif from the University of Wisconsin in 1981. She also received training from the Center for Conflict Resolution in Chicago, attended the MIT-Harvard Public Disputes Program, and was a volunteer mediator for the Cook County Circuit Courts for several years. She has more than 25 years of experience in the fields of conflict resolution and has worked with businesses of all sizes and many nonprofit organizations. She is a member of the American Arbitration Association's national panel of neutrals, and mediates more complex conflicts through the AAA.

Kim Gage Ryan is Associate Minister at Broadway Christian Church, where she has been for the last 17 years. She is a graduate of Brite Divinity School at Texas Christian University and a summa cum laude graduate of Texas Tech University where she studied psychology, child development, and art. Ms. Ryan has led numerous educational programs for both children and adults, as well as numerous retreats. During 1994, 1996, and 1998 she was chosen to join a leadership team for training in adult bible study in South Africa. She was involved with the Regional AIDS Interfaith Network for seven years as well as the Eldercare Advisory Board for two years. She currently is on a leadership team facilitating and mentoring a group of ministers in their first five years of ministry. Ms. Ryan is also a trained and certified labyrinth facilitator through Veriditas with Lauren Artress. She assisted with the dedication of the Boone County Hospital Center labyrinth, which was built in the fall of 2004. Ms. Ryan has two sons.
